The Steven Family

Our immediate family consists of:

• Two Humans of opposite gender
• Two cats of similar gender
• One hellhound

What is a hellhound you may ask?  It's a dog that has more than just a dash of character, he's absolutely unbelievable.  Imagine this:  A rescue dog who was likely bred for fighting other dogs, who has extreme hyperactivity, tends to hyperfocus as well, and finds most things outside of the immediate family a major danger.  That's Max.  We keep him because he's got enough dog in him that we can still love him, but just barely.  That says a great deal for the goodness of dogs.

We have two very well tempered cats to offset Max however, and we enjoy them all the more.  They don't inspire us to write great tracts about them because they're such civil and cuddly little rascals.. there's really nothing to complain about.

The fish just tend to eat and watch their big screen TV, in which we are simply players in an extremely boring sitcom.  Or so we assume.
